Personal Reflection

I have known both ease and hardship, and I hold them with equal reverence. As a child, I found refuge in the woods and rain—barefoot, curious, listening to the wind move through the trees and watching the soft rhythm of the rain. That early connection with nature taught me something I am still learning: life is not about control, but about presence.

Even in life’s most challenging moments, there is a quiet space beneath it all, a place of deep listening, of remembering, of being with what is. Some days, I rest in that space with ease. Other days, I forget, and life gently reminds me to return.

I move through the world with a heart that feels everything, a deep love for stillness, and an endless curiosity about what it means to be fully alive. This is the space I return to and hold for others—a space of stillness, of trust, of opening to what is already here.

If something in these words resonates, then perhaps we are already in conversation. I trust that the right connections unfold in their own time, that lives intersect exactly when they are meant to.

Core Values

“ The essence of my approach is anchored in five core values that shape my life and practice to foster a supportive and enriching experience for everyone ”

  • The human experience holds both pain and beauty. Being seen and heard with compassion is essential. When we are witnessed, not just in our struggles but in our strength, we feel understood, supported, and deeply seen.

  • Integrity is living in alignment with your truth, acting with authenticity and courage. When something feels off, the body often knows before the mind does—signaling discomfort, tension, or unease. True well-being comes from listening to these signals and honoring what is real for you.

  • Approaching life with curiosity, playfulness, and spontaneity brings a greater sense of ease and joy. By staying open to new perspectives and following the impulse to explore, you naturally uncover a deeper sense of fulfillment.

  • Generosity is an open-hearted willingness to give and receive. It reflects a commitment to sharing resources and trusting in abundance. As a remedy for fear and scarcity, generosity invites us to offer our time, energy, ideas, and resources fully while welcoming the same in return.

  • Life holds everything, whether we notice it or not. Every breath connects us—to each other, to nature, to the world around us. Inclusivity means recognizing this connection, honoring the value in all people and experiences, and ensuring that everyone feels seen, respected, and valued.

Cultural Values

At Wayfinder, the focus is on moving beyond colonial paradigms in cross-cultural psychological and spiritual practices. Cultural appropriation is approached with respect and reverence, honoring indigenous traditions rather than extracting from them.

Somatic and spiritual practices are grounded in nature, neuroscience, consciousness research, and ancient wisdom from diverse traditions. This wisdom is adapted with care, holding cultural context in mind while supporting spiritual and psychological growth in a modern world.

I recognize my own privilege and the responsibility that comes with it. This means continually deepening my awareness, listening, and working to dismantle systemic oppression in meaningful ways. The wisdom of marginalized indigenous communities is not only honored but uplifted.

Wayfinder resonates deeply with Resmaa Menakem’s My Grandmother’s Hands as a guide for understanding racialized trauma, inclusivity, and the healing of generational wounds.

Sliding scale options are available for those facing financial hardship, with a commitment to making personal growth accessible to all.

This is a living value system—questions, reflections, and dialogue are always welcome.
