Why a Retreat

  • When considering if this retreat is the right fit for you, reflect on the following:

    • Are you seeking a deeper connection with yourself and nature?

    • Do you feel ready for a journey of self-discovery, healing, and growth?

    • Are you open to exploring different modalities like movement, meditation, breathwork, and creative expression?

    • Do you crave a supportive, intentional space where you can feel safe, grounded, and connected with others?

    • Are you looking for a retreat that nourishes your body, mind, and spirit?

If these resonate, this retreat offers a rich, interactive experience that meets you where you are, guiding you toward your inherent wholeness.

  • A retreat differs from therapy in several key ways:

    • Setting and Environment: Retreats take place in serene, natural settings designed for relaxation and reflection, whereas therapy typically occurs in a more structured, one-on-one setting.

    • Duration and Intensity: Retreats are immersive, spanning several days, allowing for deep, concentrated work in a short time. Therapy is usually ongoing, with regular sessions over weeks or months.

    • Group Experience: Retreats involve group activities, fostering a sense of community and shared experience. Therapy tends to be more individualized and private, focusing on personal exploration.

    • Holistic Approach: Retreats incorporate a variety of practices, such as meditation, movement, breathwork, creative expression, and connection with nature, aiming for an all-encompassing experience of well-being and growth. Therapy focuses primarily on mental and emotional health, often through talk-based interventions.

    • Experiential and Interactive: Retreats are hands-on and experiential, engaging participants in activities designed for emotional and physical balance and well-being. Therapy is usually more conversation-based, exploring thoughts, emotions, and patterns.

    • Personal Reflection: A retreat provides time for personal reflection, self-care, and integration of mind, body, and spirit, often in a communal, yet introspective, environment. Therapy focuses more on working through specific issues with the guidance of a therapist over time.

Retreats offer an intensive, holistic, and immersive experience, while therapy provides long-term, individualized support.

  • To determine if the retreat will be worth the investment, consider the following:

    • Personal Goals: Are you seeking deep personal growth, healing, or a shift in perspective? If your goals align with the retreat’s offerings—such as connection, grounding, self-discovery, and holistic well-being—then it may be a valuable experience.

    • Unique Experiences: Will the retreat provide experiences (e.g., movement, breathwork, creative expression, meditation) that you wouldn’t otherwise encounter in daily life? The uniqueness and immersive nature of retreats can offer profound benefits beyond typical routines.

    • Community and Connection: Do you desire a space where you can connect with like-minded individuals and feel supported? The sense of community in a retreat often fosters personal breakthroughs and deeper relationships.

    • Mind, Body, and Spirit: The retreat offers a comprehensive experience that nurtures all aspects of yourself.

    • Long-Term Impact: Ask yourself if the skills, insights, and practices you’ll gain could have a lasting positive impact on your life, mental clarity, emotional health, or spiritual growth. Many participants find that retreats lead to long-term transformation and greater life satisfaction.

    • Inner Calling: Reflect on whether you feel an inner calling or strong curiosity to participate. Often, intuition can guide you toward experiences that are most beneficial.

Ultimately, if the retreat aligns with your personal aspirations and offers an immersive, growth-oriented experience that excites or resonates with you, it will likely be worth the investment.

What to Expect

  • The first day centers on earth and water to cultivate safety, stability, balance, and connection. Through grounding somatic practices, participants will connect with their bodies, finding a sense of belonging and emotional flow. Activities will include gentle movement, grounding meditations, and practices designed to create security and balance, laying the foundation for emotional and physical connection. The day will close with a shared meal and practice that anchors participants in the present moment.

  • Day two draws from fire and air, invoking energy, transformation, and expansive breathwork. Participants will engage in dynamic movements, breath-centered practices, and immersive nature experiences. With a focus on connecting with oneself and others, this day encourages inner courage, personal empowerment, and vital energy. Outdoor activities, group interactions, and breathwork sessions will create space for profound growth and a deep sense of connection.

  • The final day is inspired by ether, focusing on integration, expansion, and authentic expression. Participants will explore creative arts, guided meditation, and activities to express their true selves and integrate the experience of the previous days. The retreat will conclude with a closing circle, where participants can share insights and reflect on their experience of wholeness. This day of integration provides closure, allowing participants to carry their insights and experiences back into everyday life.

Testimonials

  • "This retreat was one of the most powerful experiences of my life. I came into it not knowing what to expect and found healing, acceptance, love and support."

  • "I really enjoyed this retreat! I really loved the diversity and openness of the group. I liked the flexibility to be able to get up and leave when needed and I didn’t feel pressured to participate in anything I wasn’t comfortable in. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting me come to this!"

  • "The retreat provided me exposure to a lot of tools that I can put to use. Where I struggle, is how to best use these tools to address my issues. Meeting so many others that are struggling with their own issues, who also cared about me and mine, was very heart warming. I'm hoping that some of those relationships can bloom into ongoing friendships of mutual caring and support."

  • "The whole retreat was decadent, affecting and including all the senses with beauty and compassion and supportive transformation. I had no expectations before I went. I just knew it was something to jump into and it surprised me with how wonderful it all was. I so appreciate the attention to every detail."

  • "Well, I wasn’t expecting an open chat with God. So that was cool. I learned that it is ok to not be okay. That we all struggle with vulnerability, rejection and connection."

  • "The location, the attention to detail, (I especially loved the printed itinerary every day that was really nice), the meals, having the horses. I also appreciated how several of the facilitators really participated."

Retreat Guidelines

  • We recommend abstaining from all unprescribed substances, including alcohol, tobacco, and marijuana, for 3 days (72 hours) before, during, and after the retreat. This approach ensures safety and respect for yourself, the group, and the facilitators, while also supporting the integration of the retreat’s experiential practices. By maintaining a clear system, you allow yourself to fully engage with the retreat and achieve the greatest benefit.

  • With each practice, we encourage you to listen to your own needs and honor your comfort level. You are welcome to participate fully, or step away at any time for any reason without needing to explain. We simply ask that you inform one of the facilitators if you require additional support or have any concerns. Flexibility is key to ensuring that your experience is both meaningful and respectful of your individual process.

  • We invite you to embrace your playful and spontaneous side throughout the retreat. While we will acknowledge and hold space for all the emotions we encounter, from deep reflection to lighthearted moments, we also encourage expressions of humor, joy, and laughter. This experience is as much about play as it is about deep work. So, let’s dive in, have fun, and enjoy the process together!

  • Letting go of expectations allows us to experience the retreat fully, without the pressure to achieve or become something specific. When we release the need for a certain outcome, we open ourselves to the present moment and the process itself. This retreat is a place to come exactly as you are—without needing to be more or less. In the simplicity of showing up as your authentic self, you'll find freedom, connection, and the potential for personal growth. By letting go, you create space for something even greater to unfold. Arrive open-hearted and curious. Wear comfortable clothing.

  • As guests of this beautiful property, we ask that everyone be mindful and respectful of the space, its natural surroundings, and the community it supports. Please honor the land, the accommodations, and shared spaces, keeping them clean and leaving them as you found them.

  • If possible, consider taking 1-2 days off after the retreat to fully integrate and reflect on your experience. Allowing yourself this additional time will help you process insights, deepen your connection to the work you’ve done, and ease back into daily life with more clarity and presence. This extra time can enhance the lasting benefits of the retreat and support a smooth, intentional transition back into your routine.
